Simple Search

This page makes it easy to configure Simple Search. Once it is configured, you can paste a few simple lines of html into your html page to add a simple search form to your website. This search page will be able to search files in your website for keywords. Keep in mind that this is a very simple search. It will only search .html and .htm files in your website's main folder. It will not search files in subfolders.

How to set up your Simple Search

NOTE: Simple Search can only be used with html coding. You will need a basic knowledge of html coding to use this script.

Click the Configure Simple Search button. If the configuration is successful then you will see the message Simple Search has been configured below the button.

Steps for using Simple Search:
1) Open your form html page using an html editor

2) Modify the FORM tag as follows
Copy the text from the text box and insert into your html document

3) Cut and Paste the following text Between the FORM tags in your html document
Enter text from text box into your html document

4) Save your form html page

5) Upload your form html page
